Today about 20 seniors and grandparents were treated to a lunch put on by our JYF group (3rd-5th graders) at Forest Park. The youth greeted their guests, seated them and provided table service for the lunch and dessert. Following the food, the kids played games with the guests. The grandparents all had a good time learning games from UNO and Go Fish to LIFE. Some of the grandparents even taught the kids a few card games! There was a lot of laughter and good times as our older folks and younger folks were able to connect and get to know each other a little better.
