“Back to School” is here, and at Forest Park Christian Church in Tulsa, we celebrate the return to school with a Blessing of the Backpacks during worship. All of our students (adult and youth), teachers and school staff are invited to come up (wearing their backpacks) to receive a blessing for their upcoming school year. We have many students, educators and school staff in our congregation, and, as always, we wish them all a successful and enjoyable school year. All youth and those that work to educate them are very important to Forest Park, so we would also like to extend a blessing to all students, teachers, school staff and school volunteers within our community.
