The churchgoers at Forest Park Christian Church in Tulsa once again provided some Christmas cheer for children from area schools. Counselors from the schools identified children and their families that needed assistance this Christmas and obtained wishlists from the families which were turned into angels for the angel tree. Church members and participants then selected angels from the angel tree and purchased items such as shirts, pants, pajamas, shoes, toys, books and more for the children. In total, gifts were provided for 81 children from 18 different families. In addition to all of the gifts provided by church participants, we had a wonderful group of volunteers who worked with the schools to obtain angels, created all of the angels with the wishlist items and sorted and delivered presents to the school counselors for distribution to the families. Thank you to our volunteers, those purchasing items and everyone who was willing to give of their time and resources to help provide for those in our community through this important ministry.
