JYF had their Easter party which included games, crafts and egg hunting.  The kids started the night making jelly bean bracelets and bird seed Easter eggs (which we’ll put out for the birds on our nature walk on April 3rd).  Next the kids got very competitive during a bunny hop and egg roll and balance relay race.  However, they could not stop the giggles when they tried to pass an egg without using their hands!  After a few rounds of Easter bingo and snacks, they headed out for a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt.  The evening wound down with a resurrection egg hunt.  The kids found 13 eggs and each egg contained an item representing a part of the Easter story.  As we looked at each item we read the passage from the Bible that the item represented.  It was a fun night!
