If you were trying to beat the heat in Tulsa last weekend by dreaming of winter temperatures, you should have stopped into Forest Park Christian Church where it looked a lot like Christmas! The worship service sported a full Christmas theme with Christmas music and a tree. But the best part of this special service was the Christmas spirit of giving, which drove our congregation to collect food for Broken Arrow Neighbors. Broken Arrow Neighbors and other similar agencies typically experience a decline in food supplies during the summer months when giving from the community is not as fruitful as it is during the holiday season. Knowing this, we created our Christmas in July service so that we can help make sure that those in our area don’t have to be hungry at any time of the year. Christmas fun and the opportunity to help others in our community-Joy to the World!!
