JYF once again collected leftover Halloween candy for Blue Star Mothers of Broken Arrow and boy did they get some candy! The amount collected this year was probably about three times more than last year. The kids were invited to not only bring their own candy but to encourage friends, family and neighbors to donate as well. In addition, people at the church and in the community were invited to donate their candy. The response was great and the kids were happy to do something for our soldiers!
