Forest Park Christian Church in Tulsa once again held their annual 24 Hour Prayer Vigil. Beginning after the Maundy Thursday service and ending on the evening of Good Friday, 30 minute slots are filled in order to achieve a continuous 24 hours of prayer and reflection. Participants can use their time to reflect, pray, meditate or visit the prayer stations provided by the high school age youth. The stations provide guided reflections and prayers. Other materials are also available to guide participants in prayer and meditation if they desire. In addition, communion is available for those that wish to partake. This is a special time to slow down and focus on the Jesus’s life and teachings and the events of Holy Week and the coming Resurrection.
