This Sunday was one of excitement and rejoicing as six of our children were baptized! After attending three weeks of Pastor’s class and making their confessions of faith, the entire congregation celebrated with these kids as they were baptized and partook of their first communion as baptized members of the congregation. As a congregation, we celebrate and love these kids (half of whom have been a part of this congregation since they were babies)! And to make things even more special, this was the first time that we have had a baptism of a child whose parent was also baptized here as a child!!
We are proud of these kids and congratulate them and their families and we look forward to next week when two more (who have also been a part of the congregation since they were tiny) will be baptized!
